The two Republicans vying to be Pima County Supervisor for District 4 debate conservative spending, the Rosemont Mine, and county debt in this Arizona Illustrated forum.
Incumbent Ray Carroll, who has served the district since 1997, points to numerous awards and his voting record as proof of his conservative values and concern for the taxpayer.
His GOP opponent, Sean Collins, an Air Force veteran who has lived in Tucson since 1999, says Carroll has leaned too far to the left and "has been here too long." He says it's time for a change in District 4.
The district's voters will decide between the two at the polls on August 28th.
