Ethical Adoptions

May 27, 2010

The name of the group is Ethica and it describes itself as an independent and impartial voice for ethical child adoptions since there are often practices that can be detrimental to children, their families and prospective adoptive parents.

Melissa Griebel is the president of the board of directors for Ethica. She is an adoptive parent herself and joins us to talk about Ethica's history, mission and global issues. She answers a question that's is often brought up: Why don't more people adopt in the United States instead of looking for children overseas?
