Gene Chewning (I), Sally Ann Gonzalez (D), Macario Saldate (D), Robert Compton (R), and Kent Solberg (G) battle it out in the race for Arizona Representative District 27.

A five-way battle for two seats in the Arizona House of Representatives rages in District 27, which covers the west side of Tucson and includes the University of Arizona. Democrats Sally Ann Gonzales and Macario Saldate face Republican Robert Compton, Green Party candidate Kent Solberg and Independent Gene Chewning. Democrat Olivia Cajero Bedford faces no opposition in her move from the House to the Senate.
