San Xavier del Bac

A National Historic Landmark, San Xavier Mission was founded as a Catholic mission by Father Eusebio Kino in 1692. The oldest intact European structure in Arizona, the church's interior is filled with origianl statuary and mural paintings.

But time has taken a toll on the buildings, statues, and wall paintings. For the past 20 years, the mission has gone through major a restoration process, both interior and exterior.

Sooyeon Lee reports the latest on the restoration of this historic building.
