The National Academy of Television Arts & Science's Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter announced its nominees for 2009 Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards.

Pamela White, an experienced independent documentary filmmaker who covers science and medicine for Arizona Public Media, was nominated for Wavelengths 2: Pursuit of Discovery in the Emmy category of Informational and Instructional Content. White was also nominated for Wavelengths 4: Paths of Life in the same category.
