The National Academy of Television Arts & Science's Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter announced its nominees for 2009 Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards.

Producer Sooyeon Lee Johnston received several nominations in various categories. She received a nomination for Retablo: Uncovering the Secret in the cultural documentary category.

Martin Rubio, senior videographer with Arizona Public Media, was also nominated for Retablo: Uncovering the Secret in the non-new photographer-program category.
