View Video Nature Conservancy Saving water — August 5, 2008

Saving water and other resources is becoming a major goal of many companies and people and the Nature Conservancy has examples on its property in midtown Tucson. The building at 1510 E. Ft Lowell has docents who are taking tour groups on the property to illustrate water harvesting and other conservation methods.

Tony Paniagua joins some of them along with city councilmember Rodney Glassman who is supporting to proposed ordinances to save water. One deals with harvesting rain water on new business construction, the other entails new houses and providing plumbing so residents can use gray water in their yards.
