July 31, 2008 Update:

The initial flurry of interest in the Phoenix Mars mission may have waned a bit since the historic landing 65 days ago. However, for the scientists and engineers working on the exploration of the distant red planet the work has not stopped.

We get an update on the status of the Phoenix Mars mission and find out that scientists have met many of the objectives of the mission, including the delivery of a frozen water sample to the TEGA instrument. Luis Carrion brings us this report.
