The HabiStore is a home improvement center that relies on donations and volunteers for its success. It sells a variety of items from appliances and electronics to furniture and books. In turn, HabiStore helps out community residents by providing funds for homes. It's operated by Habitat for Humanity Tucson which builds houses for low-income residents. The store at Ajo and Palo Verde in Tucson opened in February of 2006.
