Sheltered thousands of families — June 11, 2008
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona was established in 1981 and recently moved into a brand new facility near University Medical Center north on Allen near Campbell Avenue. The organization has helped thousands of families since its inception, including a couple and their children from New Mexico.
Reporter Tony Paniagua speaks to Jennifer Friberg about her 2 year old son Sean, who's been battling leukemia since shortly after his birth. Sean has a twin who was also diagnosed with the disease but is now in remission.
