The Phoenix Mars Lander is now successfully established on the icy surface of mars. HiRISE orbiter mission has provided support for the landing. Much to the delight of scientists and engineers, the the Mars Recognizance Orbiter managed to capture an image of the lander entering the atmosphere of the red planet.
