View Video Two-way Streets Downtown Tucson going back — April 21, 2008

Looking back for the future: Tucson is transforming two major streets from one-way to two-way, hoping to slow down traffic, increase bicycle and pedestrian, and maybe improve business along Stone and 6th Avenues south of Broadway.

They were two-way traditionally but were reconfigured to one-way are not going back to their original traffic flow. The city's transportation director says the goal it to turn other one-ways into two-ways but Congress and Broadway in downtown are not in the plans at the moment.
