The Day of the Dead - DÃa de Los Muertos in Spanish - is now celebrated in many parts of the world. In Mexico, where the holiday originated, the celebration has ancient Aztec and Mesoamerican roots, and is a national holiday.
Here in Tucson, the celebration of this Mexican tradition is observed in many places including Tohono Chul Park.
