Community Supported Agriculture 2

November 20, 2007

Millions of people around the world are trying to eat better and reduce their impact on the environment by buying locally grown, organic foods that don't require huge amounts of energy to ship great distances, pesticides, herbicides and other methods that can impact natural cycles.

In the second part of our series on community supported agriculture we meet a "food activist" who raises chickens in her Tucson backyard, grows much of her own food, and wants to educate people about the importance of being more aware of their diets and the impacts they can have on communities and the natural world.
